The University of Ferrara and the Istituto Comprensivo n. 6 Cosmè Tura, located in this Italian town, hosted on 17 and 18 October the third face-to-face meeting of the partners of the project Inclusive practices of creative and innovative teaching with ICT / TAC in schools with special difficulties. The first two meetings took place in Zaragoza (Spain) in July 2021 and in Nicosia (Cyprus) in December 2021.
In this new meeting, which was attended by representatives of the seven project partners from Italy, Portugal, Cyprus and Spain, it was analysed the status of the phases of the project that have been developed throughout 2022.
Firstly, the website http://ourinclusiveschools.eu/, that contains all the information on PIECIT and the actions that are being implemented. Secondly, the Inclusive Schools Network platform, that is part of the website itself. Thirty-eight schools from the four countries are already registered on this platform and have begun to upload their inclusive practices. Likewise, the webinars promoted by the project partners have also been incorporated.
At the meeting in Ferrara, the next stages of the project were planned, which will focus on increasing the number of schools and practices in the network, and on the elaboration of three manuals on educational inclusion. These will be based on the experiences collected in the network and will be addressed to management teams, teachers and families. In addition, there will be an emphasis on dissemination work through PIECIT’s social media accounts, new webinars and other meetings.
The next project meeting will be held in Lisbon (Portugal) in April 2023.
