Held in Zaragoza the International Conference on inclusive and creative practices in schools of the PIECIT project

The Erasmus+ project Inclusive Practices of Creative and Innovative Teaching with ICT/LKT in Schools of Special Difficulty (PIECIT), has carried out the II Conference: International Scientific Seminar PIECIT Inclusive Practices of Creative and Innovative Teaching with ICT/LKT in Schools of Special Difficulty. It took place at the Faculty of Education of the University of Zaragoza and included conferences, round tables and the presentation of papers on educational inclusion, and specifically inclusive and creative practices in education. More than 100 people registered and attended the conference, coming from the different Spanish regions and from other countries such as Italy, Portugal, United Kingdom, etc. In total, 43 papers were presented, corresponding to researchers, doctoral students and schools, which showed what activities they are carrying out in this direction. The conference also included the presentation of the handbooks on inclusive practices in education that have emerged from the PIECIT project, aimed at management teams, teachers and work with families. Fourth transnational meeting of PIECIT project held in Lisbon (Portugal)

The project Inclusive practices of creative and innovative teaching with ICT / TAC in schools with special difficulties (PIECIT) (2020-1-ES01-KA226-SCH-095780) held its fourth and last transnational meeting at the Lusófona University of Lisbon, as the project enters its final stretch. It was on 30 and 31 March 2023 when representatives of the seven entities that make up the project met at the facilities of the Lisbon university. Campus Iberus (namely University of Zaragoza, University of Lleida and University of La Rioja), Lusófona University (Portugal), University of Ferrara (Italy) and University of Cyprus (Cyprus), and the educational centres CEIP Santa Engracia (Zaragoza, Spain), Istituto Comprensivo n. 6 Cosmè Tura (Ferrara, Italy) and the Royal Academy of Portugal (Lisbon, Portugal), are the participants in a project that has developed a "Network of Inclusive Schools" which, at present, has reached the figure of 35 educational centres. The Erasmus+ project Inclusive Practices of Creative and Innovative Teaching with ICT/LKT in Schools of Special Difficulty (PIECIT), will hold on 17 and 18 at the Faculty of Education of the University of Zaragoza the II Conference: International Scientific Seminar PIECIT Inclusive Practices of Creative and Innovative Teaching with ICT/LKT in Schools of Special Difficulty. This conference is the closing of the PIECIT project which, during the last two years, has analysed these inclusive and creative processes through ICT/LKT in schools with special difficulties. Throughout this period, a "Network of Inclusive Schools" has been created, which includes 35 educational centres, and manuals have been generated through which, based on the materials derived from the inclusive practices collected in the network, they address how to work in an inclusive and creative way with management teams, teachers and families. The project Inclusive practices of creative and innovative teaching with ICT / TAC in schools with special difficulties (PIECIT) approaches its final stretch with its fourth transnational meeting. It will be held on March 30 and 31 at the Lusófona University of Lisbon (Portugal). This fourth meeting will focus on the steps to be taken in the culmination of a project that is scheduled to end in July 2023. PIECIT project seminar on Erasmus mobility calls for schools

On January 26, an online seminar on mobility calls of the Erasmus program took place, in which the Spanish schools of the Inclusive Schools Network of the PIECIT project participated. It was given by Campus Iberus technicians, the consortium that brings together the public universities of the middle Ebro valley (University of Zaragoza, Public University of Navarra, University of Lleida and University of La Rioja) and which leads the PIECIT project. The objective of this meeting was to present the mobility calls for educational centers developed by the Erasmus program, with the aim of facilitating contacts and exchanges between European schools. The school of Santa Engracia (Zaragoza), has been the protagonist in the section "Escuelas en Red" of the newspaper El País. This school is one of the partners of PIECIT and the article by Rodrigo J. García, entitled "Learning, community identity and sustainable development", reported on the experience that Santa Engracia has carried out in the area around the school and in the town as a whole under the title "The Forest Route", which aimed to strengthen links with the territory, enhance local identity and generate new learning environments through collaborative experiences. On 14 November 2022, it was held an online meeting of the Spanish schools that are part of the PIECIT Inclusive Schools Network. The meeting was promoted by Campus Iberus, through the University of Zaragoza, and its aim was to explain their role within the project and, specifically, how to upload the practices to the network. The University of La Rioja, a member of Campus Iberus, organised on 10 and 11 November the Autumn Course The attention and work of cultural diversity in a changing world. The course dealt with different aspects and areas of cultural diversity, one of the most relevant being education. The University of Ferrara and the Istituto Comprensivo n. 6 Cosmè Tura, located in this Italian town, hosted on 17 and 18 October the third face-to-face meeting of the partners of the project Inclusive practices of creative and innovative teaching with ICT / TAC in schools with special difficulties. The first two meetings took place in Zaragoza (Spain) in July 2021 and in Nicosia (Cyprus) in December 2021. In this new meeting, which was attended by representatives of the seven project partners from Italy, Portugal, Cyprus and Spain, it was analysed the status of the phases of the project that have been developed throughout 2022.
